Boundary, 2011

This project came out of being part of Dundee Artists in Residence’s Reading Towards Action group. Reading about artists who use walking as a way of exploring cities in different ways for instance the Situationists and their dérives… the idea emerged to walk the boundary of Dundee City. The project was the first exploration of what it is to ‘Know Place’. It was also a boundary in the sense that it moved between landscape architecture and fine art again a first attempt at that.

The outcomes of the walk were shown at the Dundee Live Festival.
